Simone was born in Chicago Illinois. It was at the age of four that she began to take an interest in dance. Simone has taken over a total of eight years of professional dance classes including: ballet, jazz, modern, and tap. When Simone and her mother moved to a small city just south of Chicago, she quickly realized she had a passion for music. Over the next few years she sang in her church chorus and two community choirs. Once it was apparent that singing wasn’t just a hobby, she began taking private voice lessons and joined the roster at a small talent agency in her hometown. It was there that Simone began to explore modeling, acting, singing, and even writing.

In hopes of opening new horizons, Simone relocated to Georgia in 2005 to expand her opportunities as an artist and persue a degree in graphic design. While persuing her degree, she also began creating jewelry and in 2007, started a jewelry design company. Simone graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta in September of 2008.

When asked to describe herself, she replies: "I think I am an artist with a multitude of interests... When people ask me what my favorite creative intrest is, it always takes me a minute to answer because I truly consider myself to be an all around artist. I have love and respect for all forms of creativity and I like to dabble in a lot of different artistic venues. I love everything that I do, but there's just something about writing and singing that enables me to feel truly fulfilled. To be honest, I can't see myself only focusing on one field. I'm a behind-the-scenes type of person. I get pleasure out of being the creator, but not necessarily the face... if that makes any sense? I'd like to definately continue writing and doing some background vocal work and arrangements for other artists. I'd like to continue building my jewelry design company and I'd also like to incorporate my graphic design and photography work into maybe helping other artists market and create an image for themselves. In my opinion, there's such a need for unity between artists. I'd rather focus my energy on helping and working with other artists who are trying to build a successful career, but may lack the right foundation or resources... I don't want to be the brains of the operation, just the engine that helps the brain run it's own operation."

"There's still so much I'd like to learn and experience and working with others who are passionate about the same things I am has proven to be an amazing and life changing experience for me. I guess I have ambitious dreams, but hey, I dream big."
